This project aimed to convert a traditional, high-maintenance front garden into a stylish, functional, and low-effort outdoor space.

The goal was to reduce the need for regular upkeep while enhancing curb appeal and creating a welcoming entrance to the home.

This stunning front garden makeover demonstrates how thoughtful design and quality materials can completely elevate an outdoor space. Positioned to take full advantage of its south-facing orientation, the garden was reimagined to deliver both visual impact and long-term ease of upkeep.

📐 Project Overview

Client Brief: To create a space that thrives in full sunlight, requires minimal upkeep, and enhances curb appeal all year round.

🛠️ Structural Redesign

The project began with a full excavation of the existing garden. To introduce structure and depth, we installed robust breeze block and sleeper retaining walls, creating a tiered layout that maximises space and enhances usability.

🧱 Groundwork & Surfacing

The lower tier was finished with elegant Kandla Grey porcelain paving, supplied by Paving Stones Direct UK Ltd. This choice offers a sleek, contemporary look with excellent durability and minimal maintenance—perfect for high-traffic areas.

🌱 Artificial Lawn Installation

To soften the hard landscaping and add year-round greenery, the upper two tiers were laid with Glade Emerald artificial lawn. This premium turf provides a lush, natural appearance without the hassle of mowing or watering.

All building materials for this project were sourced from Hardcores Building & Paving Supplies, ensuring consistency and quality throughout the build.
