A four week rear garden renovation focused on transforming a tired and weathered outdoor space into a modern, low maintenance garden built for year round enjoyment.

Despite challenging winter conditions, the project delivered a complete upgrade - replacing old decking, redesigning the pond area, installing new Indian stone landscaping and renewing the boundary fencing.

The result is a fresh, contemporary garden with improved structure, durability and a standout feature jetty deck that brings new life to the space.

📋 Project Brief

The client required a full refresh of a tired rear garden, replacing ageing timber elements and improving the overall layout:

Removing old and worn patio decking
Installing a new feature jetty style decking area
Redesigning and upgrading the existing pond
Creating a new garden path to improve access up the garden
Replacing a damaged boundary fence
Swapping old timber decking for modern composite decking with decorative trellis

All works needed to be completed with minimal disruption to the pond and fish, despite challenging winter weather conditions.

Feature Composite Chestnut Jetty Decking A striking overhanging deck built above the pond to create a unique focal point and viewing platform.
Replacement Composite Chestnut Decking Old wooden decking removed and replaced with low maintenance composite boards, paired with a decorative trellis to form a refreshed entertaining area.

New Hit and Miss Boundary Fence Installed to replace the old damaged fence, offering improved privacy, airflow, and a clean modern finish.
