A garden transformation breathing life into a steeply sloping plot surrounding a contemporary new-build home. Positioned on a prominent corner, the site posed significant design challenges due to its dramatic gradient, which initially limited usability and visual cohesion.

However, through thoughtful landscaping and strategic terracing, the space has been reimagined into a multi-level haven that seamlessly blends form and function. Retaining walls, carefully selected plantings, and integrated pathways now guide the eye creating distinct zones for relaxation and entertainment.

A recently completed garden transformation has brought life and functionality to a steeply sloping plot surrounding a new-build property. Occupying a prominent corner position, the site presented both challenges and opportunities—most notably, the dramatic gradient falling away from the house.

🌟Client’s brief: To create a low-maintenance, visually striking garden that supports outdoor living and provides a safe, engaging space for children to play.

✨ Design Features

Split-Level Porcelain Patios: using Storm Anthracite Porcelain Paving the garden boasts elegant, multi-tiered patios that define zones for dining, relaxing and entertaining.
Summerhouse Patio: a dedicated patio space has been prepared for a summerhouse installation which will add a cozy retreat to the garden’s layout.
Artificial Lawns: the Glade Emerald Artificial Lawn offers a lush, maintenance-free play area for children, blending seamlessly with the hardscape.
Raised Sleeper Beds: constructed with robust timber sleepers, these beds add structure and height and filled with Morray Firth cobbles.
Planting Scheme: low-maintenance Mediterranean species were chosen for their drought tolerance and sculptural beauty.
