Project Chalia
A corner plot once-neglected, connected by a charming period property, has been thoughtfully transformed into a private garden retreat. Where overgrown greenery and a crumbling garage once dominated, we now find a character-rich outdoor space designed for both relaxation and entertaining.
The new layout harmonises with the original stone and brickwork, featuring reclaimed materials and soft planting that invite quiet moments and lively gatherings alike.
🌿 Rustic Garden Revival — Stage 1 Complete S6
This charming period property on a corner plot had seen better days—its overgrown garden and crumbling garage sat on top of layers of an old concrete drive.
Client Brief: Create a private, character-filled garden for relaxing and entertaining, in a style that complements the property’s original stone and brickwork.
🧭 Design Vision
The garden had become overgrown and overshadowed by a deteriorating garage and layers of old concrete drive. Our goal was to revive the space with a rustic English country garden—blending timeless charm with modern functionality.
🛠️ Scope of Works
Full site clearance and demolition of garage
Excavation of steeply sloping terrain
Removal of two hidden drive layers discovered during digger works
Installation of patio, edging, fencing, gates, turf and planting
Repurposing original bricks to build a bespoke outdoor kitchen
