This front garden transformation turned a dilapidated, uneven space into a welcoming, low maintenance entrance with strong kerb appeal. The original garden suffered from sunken areas, mismatched step sizes and impractical split levels.

Responding to the client’s brief for a user-friendly, visually pleasing design, we restructured the entire area to create a single level. One of the key challenges - achieving equal step sizes and consistent levels - was met with precision, resulting in a front garden that is both functional and elegant.

The existing garden was dilapidated, with sunken areas, uneven split levels and steps of varying sizes that made access difficult and unsafe.

Patio: Laid with Indian Stone Autumn Brown, offering warmth and timeless elegance

Structural – walling and steps:

Brickwork matched to the house for seamless integration.
Raised beds planted with perennials and shrubs and finished with Solent Gold decorative pebbles. The raised beds house communication, gas, and electricity pipes discreetly within the design offering easy access if needed.
Coping stones matched to the patio, ensuring design fluency.
Steps rebuilt with equal sizing for safe navigation.
