This bungalow underwent a transformative landscaping project that resolved longstanding drainage issues and elevated its outdoor living spaces.

The front garden was redesigned to improve access, functionality and enhanced curb appeal.

At the rear, the garden was upgraded with modern landscaping, high-quality materials. The integration of effective drainage solutions and stylish design has significantly increased the property's liveability.

🏡 Restoration & Modernisation of Detached Bungalow

Duration: 7 Weeks (August 2025)

Project Scope: Full landscaping and structural upgrades to front and rear gardens

🌿 Stage 1: Back Garden Redevelopment

Objective: Resolve drainage issues and upgrade the outdoor living space with modern landscaping and privacy features.

Challenges:

Existing patio was uneven and deteriorated
Rainwater runoff from adjacent golf course caused flooding and erosion

Full excavation of garden area
Installation of surface and land drains to manage water flow
Hardcore sub-base laid for structural integrity and levelling
Raj calibrated Indian Stone paving installed for durability and aesthetics
Aco drainage channels integrated for effective surface water control
European-style Omega arched top fencing with sleeper gravel boards installed for privacy and modern appeal
Secure gate added to front boundary for access control

Compacted hardcore sub-base laid to support vehicular traffic
Driveway paved with Calibrated Raj Indian Sandstone and Tegula block paving border
New lawns laid with fresh topsoil
Raised sleeper beds constructed for planting
Decorative Flamingo gravel added for visual interest
Omega boundary fencing installed to match rear garden
